Monroe County has implemented Global Connect, an emergency notification system that functions as a reverse
9-1-1 system. For example, in the event of a weather emergency, the Global Connect system will call your land line telephone to alert you to the emergency situation.
Cell phone numbers are not part of the Global Connect database. If you want your cell phone to be called to alert
