  • Deposits and keeps the revenue and public monies of the county.
  • Invests funds on deposit according to State law.
  • Assists the County Board in formulating budgets, financial plans and projections.
  • Billing and Collection of nearly $50 million real estate taxes.
  • Conducts annual sale of delinquent real estate taxes.

2011 Tax Cycle
    The 2010 Real Estate Tax Bills were mailed on July 30, 2011.  The State Equlization Factor (commonly known as the Multiplier) is 1.07410.  The first installment was due September 9, 2011 and the second installment was due October 14, 2011.  Publication of delinquent parcels appeard in the Waterloo Republic-Times on November 23, 2011 and the Tax Lien Sale will be held on December 13, 2011 in the West Meeting Room of the Monroe County Courthouse.  If you would like to view your tax bill or view your payment status, please click on parcel inquiry.
